Most casino bonuses are designed to lose you money
I've spent years testing UK casino offers and most aren't worth your time. Here I share the ones that actually are — rated by expected value maths, not by who pays me the most commission.
Bonuses I'd actually use myself
Sorted by expected value. Filter by type if you know what you're after.
What kind of bonus are you after?
No wagering bonuses
Win something, withdraw it. No hoops, no playthrough requirements. These are the holy grail and they're rare.
Low wagering bonuses
Under 20x is where bonuses start making mathematical sense. Still need to grind, but the odds aren't stacked against you.
£1 deposit casinos
Test a site without risking much. Just watch out — some payment methods don't qualify for the bonus at £1.
Wagering calculator
Plug in any bonus and see if it's worth claiming. Takes 10 seconds and can save you a lot of wasted time.
How I decide what makes the list
By James Rutherford
Run the numbers first
Playthrough times house edge equals expected loss. If that loss is bigger than the bonus, it's a bad deal. Most bonuses fail this basic test.
Check the UKGC license
I look up every casino on the Gambling Commission register before listing it. If it's not there, it doesn't go on this site.
Actually deposit and play
I put my own money in, claim the bonus, play through it, and withdraw. You're seeing real results from real tests, not guesswork.
Read the terms properly
Max win caps, payment method exclusions, game restrictions, time limits — I go through all of it and flag anything that could catch you out.
